Dr. Robinson and her team recently attended the Frontline TMJ, Headache, Orofacial Pain, and Botox Therapeutic Treatment continuing education course, sponsored by the American Academy of Facial Esthetics.   Many people suffer from orofacial pain which has many origins, one of which is clenching or grinding.  This is otherwise known as bruxing.  Botox therapeutic, when injected directly into the affected muscle/trigger point, is highly effective in reducing the activity of the muscle.  For up to 3 months, patients can get relief from their headache pain and muscle stiffness in many of the areas around the temporomandibular joint and/or neck.  Here Dr. Robinson is seen treating both her assistant, Angie, and her hygienist, Zara.
